Crunch the numbers to see if you'd be better off with everyone on one plan, or if you should split coverage.

Shop around for private insurance, too -- especially if only one spouse is employed. It may be cheaper to keep one adult on the company plan, and buy a private family plan for the other partner and the children.

Founder, Benjamin Stock, began his career specializing in life insurance and property/casualty policies with Statefarm. Following his experience at Statefarm, Ben began working with an independent insurance broker focused on individual and employee benefits. Today, he and his wife, Ashley Stock, have opened their own agency specializing in health, life, dental, vision, disability, long term care, and health savings accounts for individuals, families and businesses.
